I’ve been working on significant content lately and want to share with the Muwabi community. The presentation below is a summary regarding the state of the economy as I see it. I’ve provided in depth analysis on various topics, which coincide with the general conclusions I frequently write about on this website. I highly encourage using the full screen version, considering many of these charts are difficult to see in the embedded screen. Let me know what you think; otherwise enjoy…

Great analysis……..demographics is telling for the direction we are headed. Add to that a poorly educated citizenry, increased savings and reduced personal consumption topped off by a one-party dominated political environment encouraging the dependent class and you are looking at lost decades.
CORRECTION-not lost decades, but a lost country.

I was going to make some observations regarding your various positions, but your depth of knowledge on the issues covered is rather intimidating. Not having your grasp of the issues, I will just continue on my (naive?) optimistic outlook for the future.

Haha… no need to feel intimidated. I’m just calling it like I see it but am not naive enough to think I cannot be challenged or wrong in various instances. And in terms of being optimistic, I don’t believe that is the same as being naive. I’m actually relatively optimistic about the U.S. position relative to the rest of the world. I’m just deeply concerned about the direction the government is taking us (both of the last two administrations, both sides of the aisle). It’s a positive thing to see deflation and the market’s corrective forces in action- it takes us back to a sustainable path and allows the public to question all the mistakes of how we got here. The part where I’m extremely pessimistic is that the decision makers continue to misdiagnose the problem and prevent this correction/deflation/questioning of mistakes from occurring. All this does is prolong the recession and push problems down the road. The semi-positive news is that every country in the world is doing exactly the same thing. I try to be optimistic this can change but am really left uncertain.
